Referrals

You do not need a referral from a doctor or other medical practitioner to see one of our Podiatrists - you can “self-refer”.

Many of the patients we see at Brightwell require a holistic treatment approach requiring other therapies such as physiotherapy or osteopathy in conjunction with their podiatric treatment. At Brightwell we have built links with many other health professionals and practices within and around the Reading area whom we will refer to and liaise with throughout treatment programmes to ensure patients receive the most suitable care they need to get the best results.

We also have close links with several orthopaedic, podiatric consultants and sports physicians. This means our patients can be referred for further investigation into their injury or lower limb problem and also access surgical treatment.
