The Brightwell Clinic philosophy is to look at the body in motion, so as to treat the body in motion thereby keeping the body in motion.
The philosophy of the practitioners at Brightwell Clinic in treating an injury or condition, or an impairment of a physiological or biomechanical process within the body, is to regard the body as a dynamic structure which is in motion most of the time.
Looking at a particular limb, or process in a static sense, may mean that the underlying cause of the injury or impairment is not diagnosed and therefore treatment may not be appropriate.

The movement of the body is affected by the following factors:
the efficiency of operation of the elements of that structure
the efficient power of that system gained from the fuel that the body takes in; and
the mental approach used to control the structure.
The importance of a person's core stability is not overlooked when assessing an overuse injury and practitioners will consider if improving it will lessen the risk of re-injury.
What we eat has a vital impact on all our systems not just digestion. At Brightwell Clinic we believe that poor diet can adversely affect the performance of the human body.
Re-balancing physiological and biochemical processes, through a nutrient dense, healthy and varied diet optimises the performance of the body and makes it easier to keep the body in motion.
