Miss Naomi Green

MSc BSc(Hons) PGDip PGCert MChS
HPC Registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist

Naomi Green is a Podiatrist specialising in assessing and treating the biomechanics of the foot and lower limbs, musculoskeletal and sporting injuries in addition to treating all aspects of general footcare.

Following completion of her BSc (Hons) degree in 1999 Naomi worked for the NHS and then went on to work in private healthcare clinics. In November 2009 she joined Susan Sandall at Brightwell Clinic. Naomi has obtained a postgraduate certificate in Sports Podiatry, and also completed her Masters degree in Biomechanics at Staffordshire University, where she was awarded a merit for her research into football boots and injury.

Naomi combines her knowledge and use of many other treatments to reduce symptoms, and improve lower limb and foot health, complimenting any on-going care patients are receiving from other health professionals. A large number of her patients are pre and post foot surgery and referrals from orthopaedics.

In comparison to many other clinicians, in the podiatric field, Naomi has the additional advantage of in-depth understanding and knowledge regarding video gait analysis and pressure measurement due to the invaluable experience she gained from working for a distributor of foot pressure measurement systems.

Naomi has worked as part of a mobile podiatric biomechanics team visiting sports teams/clubs treating all sports patients from the juvenile to amateur to professional athlete in football, cricket, rugby, running, netball and shooting. Naomi’s research into injuries and football boots has helped her focus and specialise in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.

Naomi has presented numerous detailed training programmes in gait analysis, biomechanics, the diabetic foot and orthotic prescription. She has lectured throughout the UK as well as in Denmark, Belgium and India. This has advanced her own expertise enabling her to provide high quality service and treatment to her patients.
